                       Bridesmaids   by Kassandra Rheaume

On rainy days, when it’s just too crappy to go outside, I always find myself wanting to do the same thing: watch a good movie. My number one pick is Bridesmaids. I first saw this movie on its midnight premiere in my hometown, and have been obsessed with it ever since. The characters keep you laughing the whole time, your cheeks and stomach hurting from giggling so much. The story is of a girl’s best friend getting married and the story behind their friendship. The main character Annie, is a baker, and lost her bakery because of financial problems. You get sucked into this story, going through her hardships with her. Every character brings more and more life to the flick. The best friend, Lillian, seems to have her whole life together and her wedding will just be the icing on the cake. Each of her bridesmaids has completely different personalities and help shape a comedy that will never be forgotten. Annie’s love life is all over the place as well as the rest of her life, but when Lillian needs her to step up as maid of honor she is right there. The lifelong friends go through the ups and downs of the pre-marital days together, leaning on each other with times get hard. Annie tries her best to outdo Lillian’s new friend and shows us a story of true friendship and love. Annie is the epitome of a real friend and shows just how far she will go for the ones she loves. So when you need a good laugh, make that bag of popcorn in your cabinet and enjoy two hours of sorrows and humor.

  1. This is the perfect rainy day movie! Not only is it a chick flick (bonus) but it is also hilarious! Plus, even though it's considered to be a click flick I know multiple guys who have watched this movie. It's got that feel good movie aspect to it that anyone can relate to, and have a good laugh while doing so.
