Review

The best hockey stick I have ever used was the Easton Stealth RS.  The stick is light, it has a good kick when you shoot the puck, it is accurate, and you get a good feel for the puck when you are stick handling.  The shaft is made with compression molds and a custom made layer of Kevlar.  This outer wrap gives the stick more protection and better feel. This process also makes it lighter, stronger, and allows the shaft to load and unload with more force giving you a harder and more accurate shot.  One of the unique things about the RS is the taper.  The stick actually has an elliptical taper which allows for a quicker release.   By combining pressure and compression when molding the blade, the blade of the RS will stay closed through your shot which helps make your shot even more accurate.  A knock on the RS is that it breaks easily.  If you are a pro or getting the stick for free this wouldn’t bother you but, when you are buying it yourself and it breaks after a month or two you might not be very happy.  The stick does come with a 30 day warrenty though, so if you break it within the first 30 days Easton will send you a new one.   This link is for a youtube video where Mike Cammilari and Zach Parise talk about the Easton Stealth RS http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-860W9864ew .  The video is called the art of scoring.  The Easton Stealth RS is available at just about any hockey pro shop or store.  It is also available at many online hockey stores such as Total Hockey, Hockey Monkey, and Hockey Giant. http://www.hockeymonkey.com/   http://www.hockeygiant.com/ http://www.totalhockey.com/ .  The stick usually runs between 150 and 200 dollars.  My experience using the RS was very good and I would definitely buy one again.

  2. Although this is a great hockey stick, I much prefer the CCM Titan. The Titan gives you a better release from my experience, and doesn't break as easily as the composite stick. Also, the Titan is much less expensive, so when it does eventually break you do not have to go and spend two hundred dollars on a new one.

The greatest player to ever play hockey did not use a Stealth, he used a Titan. The Titan gave him a better feel for the puck and allowed him to put up 215 points in his 86' season with the Edmonton Oilers. Without the proper stick ,he would not have been able to accomplish this task.

The stealth is a great hockey stick, I will agree with you on that. But if you really want to be able to score goals on a consistent basis I would suggest maybe investing in the CCM Titan, the greatest stick ever made.

  3. as a fellow hockey player but as a hockey goalie i would prefer warrior. The quality of warrior sticks is more durable than easton as i remember every player with an easton stick would be complain after 3-4 practices his stick broke. When the warrior sticks do not brake that easily compared to easton s19 and the stealth RS. I think and believe in the quality of the warrior widow one of the world best hockey player uses it alexander Ovechkin. i posted a link that gives the differences between the both sticks.
