hi there future dog owners, like every person that wants to own a dog thinks is that having a dog is just feeding it and give it a place to sleep, i will be explaining what you have to provide your dog with and what you have to provide in and out your house to keep your dog safe.

Dog proof your room, as all of us know dogs are known to chew on shoes, toys couches and etc, because of this every room in the house could be dangerous for a dog.
Lets take the kitchen room as an example, some dangerous objects that are located in that room could be sharp cooking and cleaning utensils, poisonous detergents, sharp aluminum cans, chicken bones, plastic bags and the list goes on. Some tips to solve this problem; lock cabinets where detergents and plastic bags are stored, hide your garbage back our of sight, be vigilant about cleaning up messes. Another way to prevent this i to teach your dog to enter the room on commands so that the dog would know when he/she could enter the room. You should apply this to all the rooms to keep your dog safe and your house to prevent this.

When you let your dog out in your backyard, make sure you have a fence to keep passersby safe from your dog and your dog safe from them. Apply fences that are tell enough so the dog would not jump over it plus make sure it has a lock on it. Make sure your dog wears a collar with and I.D incase your dog would manage to escape when you let she/he out.



Because dogs need constantly care, they need to be brushed daily. They are different types of brushes for example we have the bristle brush; they are used for nay type of coat, longer widely spaced bristles are better for dogs with longer coats. Another brush that works well on dogs with medium long hair is the wire pin brush. The slicker brush is used to take out mats and tangles and to smooth your dogs coat. To rake the undercoat of your dog you should use the undercoat rake. The dog comb is useful for combining out hair after detangling or to create that final feather look in long haired dogs. While you are brushing your dog you are actually making a stronger bond with your dog.
Next to brushing your dog you also need to wash your dog with the required shampoo one time a month.

Feeding your dog is one of the most important things to do keep our dogs healthy and happy. But be aware that over feeding your dog could make your dog become overweight and lazy. Thats why you need to feed your dog the healthy kind of food and the required diet to keep him/she active and happy.
Not only does it keep the dog active and happy it gives the dog a healthy skin.
